Colon cancer extends up to rectum and is extremely fatal. In most cases, it needs surgery or radiotherapy spread over 2 to 3 months. However, in some cases, patients start showing better results through effective drug use too. They are administered to colon cancer patients with no absurd medical history.
Levamisole, used till now to exterminate worms, has been thought as the right stuff to mitigate cancer. Though it still is in research stage, it is expected that it may reduce the risk up to one third.
The Xumab group is world renowned for its general welfare in case of colon cancer. Bevacizumab (Avastin), cetuximab (Erbitux) and panitumumab (Vectibix) don’t come cheap and have to be regularly taken by the patient. The later is still in its initial stage. Their aim is to stop the proliferation of tumor. Cetuximab, by general feeling, is found to be the most effective of the trio. Of course, they come with sedatives and antacids to reduce the vomiting feeling.
While suffering from colon cancer, the taste becomes metallic. It is necessary to get it cured through effective items that make the food appear sweet. The patient should take adequate precaution and ideally should stay on diabetic food.
