Breast cancer is one of the biggest threats to women across the global substratum. Yes, radiotherapy can be a counterfoil to this terrible disease but the treatment process is in itself an ordeal; that is when most things go as planned. Often, other problematic ramifications arise after the treatment is over; at other times problems arise and are compounded during the treatment itself.

In all probability, FEC chemo and Taxotere chemo are worked alongside the basic radiotherapy and the combination of these treatments can extend to 10 months or so. The process of tattooing and going through the simulators via lasers is a painful process and it’s nothing short of a nightmare. One, you are fighting with a disease you might not survive and second, to go through a lot of pain- it is too much to ask for really.

While radiotherapy in itself is not much of a teaser, chemotherapy makes it the pain it is. Skin also begins to tire down. It turns red and very weak over due course of time. Itching and other sensations are quite there too. It is still not recommended to use soap or other pacifying creams.
